Illustraties gemaakt in 1900 over "uitvindingen van de toekomst" vormden voor mij inspiratie voor dit project. Ik baseerde mijn eigen fantasie/visie over/op de toekomst op recente ontwikkelingen in de techniek en wetenschap.

I got inspiration for this project from illustrations from around 1900 when people drew "inventions of the future". I based my own visions on the future on recent developments in technology and science.
 

 

 

Deze bedachte uitvinding is gebaseerd op de uitvinding van kleine helicopters die zelf balans kunnen houden. Het lijkt handig om een platform te hebben waar je op kunt vliegen, maar de vogels zullen niet zo blij zijn met deze indringers van hun territorium, en de gevolgen van botsingen zijn ook niet te overzien.

This "invention" is based on small helicopters that can keep balance. It seems handy to have a platform to travel on, but the birds might not be very happy with those intruders, and what about collisions?
