This is the second semester after choosing my major in Graphic Design. Even though we are studying print designs we still we have one homework for which we have designed web pages for our School. The web page is about ‘news’ in our department, not any kind of news, news that are mainly related to design. I didn’t want to make it like a old fashioned newspaper, i rather wanted to make it make something that easier to navigate and neat so it is easy to read. I have used pictures from internet and some of the works are mine.
I chose the colours according to the new look in our department’s office. Well it does not have yellow but i think it would not look odd if it did. I liked to image this place as somewhere we come and reflect at what we are doing, see where we are and help each other for a fun creative future. I tried making it look professional. My target group was obviously the people in our department, but I wanted to design in such a way that other readers who are interested in this subject also spend some time here.
