Animated music video for the band Battery Operated Orchestra.

An escape from the boiling hell of a red-hot Summer city into cool blue nostalgia. The tense red palette returns when fond memories turn dark and mysterious within the song.

We shot the singer (me) with painted green Ray Bans on, against a green screen for easy keying into two tones, then combined this with various frame-by-frame animated Summery loops recalling a hazy lost youth. The final shot has us inevitably returning to reality with jolt.
