Dengue is a viral disease transmitted to human by the bite of infected Aedes mosquito. But it isn't transmitted directly from infected person to other person. Preventive practices regarding dengue were consistent with the knowledge about these practices, with majority of the respondents relying on mosquito sprays (48%) and/or mosquito mats and vaporizers. Table 4lists the distribution of preventive practices in our sample.
