Arizona's 2022 season is now upon us.  Let the Monsoon 2022 project begin.  These shots were all taken near our home in the Desert Hills area near Cave Creek.  The season is early so I hope there are more lightning photo opportunities to come.

Final Monsoon Song of the Night

A composite consisting of 6 of the last group of photographs I took lake Sunday night before stopping and heading home for the night shortly after midnight.  It was total darkness in terms of lighting and exposure of the shots but one thing is uniquely different here and it is the fact that I took my jogging light attached to my chest and turned it on during several of the exposures.  The effort ended up being one of painting the Saguaro in the foreground with light to help it stand out a little.  Fun night experiment painting with light!
