មនោរាហ៍ Manohara
នាង មនោរាហ៍ គឺជាឈ្មោះតួអង្គ ស្រី ក្នុងរឿងព្រេងនិទានបុរាណខ្មែរ គឺរឿង ( ព្រះសុធននាងកែវមនោរាហ៍) ។ រឿងនិទាននេះ ក៏ត្រូវបានសសេររៀបរាប់ក្នុងគម្ពីរ បញ្ញាសជាតក ផងដែរ ដែលមានឈ្មោះរឿងថា (រឿងព្រះសុធនកុមារ) ។
ក្នុងរឿងបុរាណខ្មែរ និង ក្នុងគម្ពីរ បញ្ញាសជាតក មនោរាហ៍ គឺជាកិន្នរី នាព្រៃ ហេមពាន្ត ដែលមានរូបរាងជា មនុស្សពាក់កណ្តាល និង សត្វស្លាបពាក់កណ្តាល អាចហោះហើរ និងដោះស្លាបទុកបាន ។
ក្នុងរូបភាពនេះ ខ្ញុំបានបំផុសគំនិតចេញពីតួអង្គ នាងកែវមនោរាហ៍ ដែរជាមនុស្សស្រីពាក់កណ្ដាល និងបក្សីពាក់កណ្ដាល ទ្រង់ដោយសម្លៀកបំពាក់បែបបុរាណខ្មែរ ជាមួយនិងការរួមបញ្ជូល រវាការប្រើរប៊ិចពណ៍ខ្មៅនិង ពណ៍ទឹក។
ផ្នែកដែរសំខាន់ ក្រៅពីរោមបក្សីដ៍ស្រស់ស្អាតនោះ គឺ ភ្នែកដែរមានពីរពណ៍ ដែរតំណាងឲ្យការមើលឃើញនូវអនាគតកាល។
ផ្នែកខាងក្រោម គឺជាស្រមោល ដែរចាំងឆ្លុះលើរផ្ទៃទឹក ដែរបង្ហាញពីភាពជាខ្លួនឯង។

Neang Monorah is the name of a female character in an ancient Khmer fairy tale, the story (Preah Sothoun Neang Keo Monorah).
In Khmer mythology and in the scriptures, Panha Cheatak Monorah is a Kinnaree in the Hempen forest, who is half human and half birds. She can fly and take off her wings.
In this picture, I inspired by the Khmer fairy tale character of Keo Monorah, a half-woman and half-bird, in traditional Khmer clothes with a combination of black & white and watercolor.
In addition to the beautiful bird feathers, the eyes also have two colors that represent the vision of the future. The lower part is a shadow that reflects on the surface of the water, showing self awareness.
It took me over three hours to finish this artwork. Size A3
