For this project we were allowed to choose whatever we wanted to draw. The only thing that was a must was to make a mockup of the final image on a art expo.

So this particular project was done in a smaller time frame then usually, so less research was gonna happen. I immediately had an idea I wanted to follow, so off to work I was. My idea was to draw people since I rarely draw that. I started off looking for 3d models to pose so I can draw that. I then posed them and took pictures.
With the poses in place I'd look u a few references for only the face seeing I had issues with that before. Then it was off to sketching and choosing the one I liked.
As you can see I do have struggle with the expressions, nearly all have something off to them but other than that I really liked them. I chose the last sketch due to the expression being the least scuffed. Then I cleaned up the line-art and began adding colors, shading and just making the final product.
And of course the project stated I needed to make mockup's on a art expo so thus here is the final result.
Reflecting on this project, I would have liked to do more as I always do, but sometimes I just need to accept an illustration as finished. The face itself is a bit scuffed as I said before but other than that, really happy with the look.
