As part of Pos Malaysia’s brand refresh, we were tasked with redesigning the brand’s packaging materials for domestic and international markets which consisted of boxes, envelopes and flyers.
Our challenge was to create a new look, with a simplified base design template that could be applied across
all products and markets, and succeed in functionality as well as aesthetic; structure was as important as creating a tasteful and pleasing design that could be instantly recognised for easier processing at mail hubs
and distribution centres.
The inspiration was in the logo. We decided to use the brand’s arrow as the main design element that would ‘point’ to the important details that postmen and sorters would need to identify, and for customers, a layout that would be easy to learn and understand.
