Looking at "In a sand storm" possibly led to controversial feelings.
On the one hand, it is a picture of solitude and isolation. The desert, sand storm, and lonely house describe a desire to stay alone. But on the other hand, the house seems like a safe and very unusual, but cozy place in the whole enormous ocean of sand.
The form of the house is made from flowers, colors make a vivid accent on the stormy desert background. The place looks like the bravest dream or a mirage with the most desirable and incredible places you would imagine. The picture immerses in the atmosphere of mixed modern architecture and oriental tales about faraway countries.
The author imperceptibly gives a hint that it is time to think, to make an important choice. It is like a difference between indoor and outdoor space, a confrontation between the power of the desert and the architecture which grows from stone blocks as an attempt to conquer the desert.
