This is a fake movie poster design I did as practice task in my course. We had to randomly pull out two genres of film that were on pieces of paper and make a poster themed around them. I pulled out 'Absurdist/surreal' and 'Thriller'. After researching what the hell Absurdist/surreal is, and looking into other films for inspiration, I came up with the fake film 'Neon Façade' a Dystopian type triller set in the future where people are trapped in a false reality (somewhat like the matrix). Main character played by Scarlett Bobanson accidently finds a link (explanation will be continued) you get the gist.
Design wise I was heavily inspired by Blade Runner and Drive which both happen to have Ryan Gosling in it, total coincidence I swear.
