UNISON is a Romanian brand that sells 🌱 vegan-based food 🍲 in its own shop and also online and in collaboration with other shops. They sell the products under #plantbased with vegan cakes, raw cookies, locally producing granola, vegetal butters, raw bars, vegan mayo and other similar goodies. Even the packaging they use are almost bio.
My task was to create a new concept for their packaging after figuring out what their brand is. Along with Raluca, we've discovered that we can tell their story with a bit of humour. Starting from a pastel coloured palette, I've created simple, clean yet catchy visuals for their butters, bars, granola, mayo and vegan parmesan.
The highlight of this concept were the speech bubbles - the product talks to you. I'll translate some of them here as you'll see them below in Romanian: 'Shake me well', 'Lay me on the pancake', 'Put me on fruits'. These are all quick tips on how to use them as many people are quite new to using them; while they're curious and want to taste them, they're not really sure if they can mix them in pasta 🍝 or put them on toast 🍞. Sweet or salty?
Nevertheless, this wasn't just a simple packaging design, it was more of a rebranding (without redoing the logo) project. We've added colour palette, fonts and concept to it. I tell you what - just try these, you'll enjoy them no matter if you're vegan or not. Who doesn't love peanuts? 🥜
