GRAPHIC DESIGN
This is a graphic piece created by myself and a colleague. We created this in one of our first HNC graphic modules. We had to follow Nike's brand guidelines and create our own promotional campaign from scratch. We used Jadon Sancho in the England kit which is sponsored by Nike, not to mention he also has Nike boots on. We had to obey the brand guidelines in every creative decision we made. Including; colours, line placement & angles, colour vibrance, slogan, logo size & placement. This was an enjoyable project as it was my first experience working with brand guidelines.
These are some examples of graphic based work I have done for Vibed Classic Cars. I helped create the company logo with a professional designer at the age of 16. This included building and designing the website platform alongside a company that codes and builds bespoke websites. I've created various graphics including a concluding page at the end of our YouTube videos and some seasonal graphics to use on social media. I created and designed our YouTube Channel and manage, on a day to day basis, including filming, editing and uploading content.
This is a loyalty card graphic I designed for a local barbershop that I visit. During the pandemic he employed two new members of staff and needed a way to gain themselves a customer base. I discussed his requirements and designed a loyalty card scheme for the business in order for his new barbers to hit the ground running when they re-open. I designed these cards and had 500 printed externally along with window graphics and point of sale visuals promoting the scheme. The project was a great success and well received by the customers. The scheme continues to run to this day.
I play football for a local Sunday league team in the Stafford District League. The club wanted to change their badge for the upcoming season as the one prior was dated and not suitable for the new season. I stepped in and offered to come up with a few concept designs and let the players decide which one they prefered most. This was the final design they chose and the badge the club now represent. I researched modern football emblems and took inspiration from clubs such as Manchester City, Reading, Brentford and Stevenage.
