remembrance is a collection of mixed media paintings inspired directly by the undertold
oral history and lasting queer legacy of Jamali Kamali and the monument built in their honour in New Delhi. Each piece is inspired by verses from Jamali's poetry.

Centrally, the collection is a visual attempt to both blur the lines of history & interpretation as well as to use queer world-making as a performative practice.
