Paperchase Live Brief

My university has been contacted by Paperchase with the intentions of setting a live brief with the Year 01/02 Graphic and Media Design Students. We were set an open brief with the theme of 'Greetings', leaving it to our own devices to see where we can take it.

Competition results: #TBA

DESIGNS

I collaborated with my friend Alexandra Forsyth with this project, we started by looking at hands, using hand gestures as the cantre of our designs.
After photographing multiple hand gestures, we printed everyone of them and using layout paper and a lightbox we traced over them.
Taking our sketches further, i imported them into illustrator and created them in vectors.

IN-STORE

We weren't fans of the front of the Flagship store of Tottenham court road, so i changed it ( Original can be seen bellow.)
We made multiple visits down to the flagship store in Tottenham Court Road, from this we decided a couple things that we could use our designs to improve upon.

I have created a Cinema4d Area of the store front/entrance to help showcase a couple ideas that we had.
The photo above is a welcoming tool for the store, if you press your hand onto the handprint on the wall the surrounding lightbulbs will get brighter.
GIF
We wanted to have some sort of gif in the show window to attract the eye of the public passing by.

This was an experimentation that we decided to do, using the hand as a substitution. "Hope you're okay"
To finish the presentation we designed a final touch to the receipt for good measure.
