Since the advent of refrigerators, like household appliances, their concept unchanged: rectangular shape, oriented vertically; openable door;
attachment to the wallbecause of the need to hide technical elements.
My task: to rethink the experience refrigerator use, create a fresh look that goes beyond stereotypes.
Purpose: Finding an alternative opening of the refrigerator due to the specifics of the target audience (opening the door with a child in her arms).
Solution: The introduction of electric drives so
that the door opens by pressing it.
One of the main ideas of the project is the free positioning of the refrigerator.
To implement the idea, two conditions must be met.
First: to achieve symmetry of the main body.
Second: think over a system that allows you to freely position the shelves.
The prototype confirmed the need to create a system
for the arrangement of boxes, a single, cast form.

In the corner areas of the refrigerator there are electric drives
that drive the door by pressing a button located on a part of the inner case.
On the inner case there is a removable panel to which the electronics is attached.
At the bottom of the panel there is a button for opening the door,
and at the top there is lighting.
In the block with the electrician, the thermal setting is fixed.

At the bottom of the boxes, in opposite corners, there are compartments.
In these compartments there are elements that fall out when a certain area is reached on the guides.
The technical elements of the compressor are located at the back of the refrigerator, hidden by gabardine. The protrusions around the perimeter prevent the fabric from contacting the tubular system, and the protrusions on the sides of the body are fasteners for the gabardine.
There are 4 holes on the sides of the case, with a thread and an additional cavity for screwing in the legs or hanging the refrigerator on the wall fixture.
The VELORT refrigerator adapts to the needs of the user in everything.
Even in the placement of the logo, which is a magnet, which you are free to place anywhere you want or not to place at all ;)
