电子幽灵或许是那些不再说话与被禁用的账号，当它作为一串代码而被删除的那一刻起，它成为了漂泊无定的幽灵。或许它是在信息大爆炸中迷失了自我，彻底将自己从现实世界中剥离，失去了与真实世界的连接，一切都变得虚无，包括它自身。或许是它在支离破碎的语言体系中不堪重负，没有人知道它在说什么，它被视作僵尸账号处理，众人一同抹去了它的存在。我们甚至不知道它的名字，但我希望能有人和我一起纪念它。因为我不知道，我们是否会成为下一个电子幽灵。
本项目从“电子幽灵”这一虚构的概念出发，以书籍为呈现媒介，欲藉此展开一场叙事的游戏。同时创作者也组织了一场线上的电子幽灵纪念活动，向项目的潜在受众发出邀请，是一场由众人共同完成的纪念活动。
《如何纪念一具电子幽灵》一书采用了非常规的装订方式，将书籍划为两个部分，也是对数字世界双重性的隐喻。第一部分呈现了创作者虚构的图文资料，以此向观者证明电子幽灵的“存在”，并抛出需要被讨论的问题。第二部分则是展示在电子幽灵纪念活动中收集到的答案。希望能够通过这个项目唤起人们对于数字身份的审视与思考，哪怕只是小范围的关注和探讨也足矣。
The "Electronic Specter" is perhaps one of those accounts that ceases to speak or is banned, at the moment it is deleted as a string of code, it becomes a specter adrift and indefinite. Perhaps it was lost in the information explosion, completely stripping itself of the real world, losing its connection to the real world, everything becoming nothing, including itself. Perhaps it was so overwhelmed by the fragmented language system that no one knew what it was saying, it was treated as a zombie account and the multitude erased its existence together. We don't even know its name, but I hope that someone will join me in commemorating it. Because I don't know if we're going to be the next "Electronic Specter".
The project started from the fictional concept of the "Electronic Specter" and uses the book as a medium of presentation in order to develop a narrative game. The creators have also organized an online memorial event for the "Electronic Specter", an invitation to the project's potential audience, a commemorative event that will be shared by all.
With an unconventional binding that divides the entire book into two parts, the book How to Commemorate an Electronic Specter is a metaphor for the duality of the digital world.The first part presents the creator's fictional words and images as a way of proving to the audience the "existence" of the "Electronic Specter", and to raise questions that need to be discussed. The second part presents the answers collected during the "Electronic Specter" commemoration. It is hoped that this project will lead to new thinking and discussion about our digital identity, even if not many people are involved in this discussion, as long as someone resonates with it, the project will be meaningful.
