Project goal
Create a short 10 seconds promo to advertise the Oro Zoom Podcast “B2B Commerce UnCut” on Youtube and LinkedIn, representing the Oro clients’ businesses specific and combining an “industrial” vibe with strict and clean geometrical shapes (they are the important part of Oro visual style in each animated video).
Concept & Idea
“Unvarnished” and “Uncut” were the keywords for this 3D animation concept. We represented them in wood textures, polished and rough, using chips on the wooden posts. The warehouse was chosen as the location to remind the B2B business-specific: conveyors, transporters, trains, boxes and containers.
Detailed map
When we just started developing the location, we wanted to show the whole warehouse and that’s why we worked in detail with different parts of the factory. Firstly we placed all objects in illustrations to see where we can fill empty spaces and how we can keep the visual composition balance. It looks like a tiny paper mockup that’s why we love this first overall shot!
First 3D Tests
To see how the clean composition works with the ball, we started doing tests with tunnel and deepening (straight and curved). These tests showed us how beautiful curved lines work with round geometrical shape, and that’s why we placed many curves on the surface.

The Final Shot Evolution
Starting with the simple Photoshop illustrations we not only tested the composition for the shot but the overall look of textures on the objects. To make the logo animation more interesting than just appearing on the box, we decided on opening the box. Soft curves around the main logo black underline its place in the center and such smooth movement as the train on the left make us focus on the logo itself.
Wooden textures
Natural wood textures make the picture closer to the real world and it feels solid and alive. As a small accents on the wood coins, we used icons, related to B2B topic to remind our viewers about the main theme of the Oro Inc. specialisation.
