I wanted to really pratice my photo mapping techniques and work with photographs from different angles, not just drawing from images taken face on. I absolutely LOVE Miley Cyrus' new photoshoot she did for LOVE magazine, the hair is so grungy and the make-up is so minimal, and I think there is something quite iconic about all the side profile shots from the shoot. After drawing I wanted to make use of some stock images I took over the summer and apply some digital collaging to the illustration and this is what I came up with. I love the overall look and I feel like with each piece I'm doing I'm defining my style and work process more and more. Hope you like it!
