the Main goal of this project was to create an explanatory video during the master of motion graphic design at Bau, College of Art & Design, Barcelona.
As main topic I've decide to work on something that I am not familiar with: the tampon tax.
After investigating on the topic and write the script I started to work on the design and the animation.
Below a a first draft of the storyboard
For the typography I've decided to use the futura bold that was then post processed with a bit of turbulent displacement to give a bit of noise effect.
overall the video tries to address the topic in a funny, bold, cartoonish way without reaching a final conclusion but more to open a conversation.
