The End of Russia

I created an art series about the end of Russia in its current form

I drew the first sketch two weeks before The Russo-Ukrainian War began, calling it 'Mother Russia' (subsequently, I've simply been writing 'She' as female appearance). We have always been told that in fact Kyiv is the mother of Russian cities. Our history begins with 'Kyivan Rus'. Russia is the daughter who decided to unleash a bloody and senseless war against her own mother. There are thousands of deaths at the behest of a dictator whose enslaved the country by binding and blinding it. Therefore, there are bandages and covered eyes in all my images of Russia as female. Slave Russia screamed for help, but the people closed their eyes to the dictator's arbitrariness, that went beyond the borders of the country afterwards. The people became accomplices in this war. The dictator turned Russia into a blind slave monster and this monster is bogged down in blood. It's impossible to forget. Russia has signed its own death warrant. Today's Russia will no longer exist. We will build a new peaceful country without imperial ambitions or maybe several countries

01. Mother Russia

We are experiencing one of the most shameful pages of Russian history. I'm Russian. I'm a citizen of Russia, a country in which power was seized by a dictator. Putin unleashed a criminal war on Ukraine, with our fraternal people. The dictator is fighting a war not only with Ukrainians, but against his own people. But the real Russia is bigger, stronger, and more durable than Putin. The horror unleashed on our kindred people in Ukraine is becoming a true humanitarian catastrophe. The hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians who have lost their homes, their livelihoods, their loved ones, and even their lives are bearing the full brunt of the blow. But all of us who speak Russian and belong to the Russian cultural world feel the blow too. The very word 'Russian' has become toxic. To avoid this analogy, we've begun to unite in all countries under a new anti-war, white-blue-white flag, a symbol of a free and peaceful Russia. Know that the people with this flag are ready to act to end the Putin regime. Russians against the war! I believe that art should continue to be created during the war, it is also a way to express your thoughts, position and emotions.
