Kinti means hummingbird, this is a bird that nature has taken to the limit; its rapid wing movement allows it to be suspended at a fixed point, its heartbeat is 1,260 beats per minute, at night to survive it goes into lethargy and its heartbeat drops 40 times per minute.

The life of the kinti has inspired me to make this chair that takes the use of wood to the limit, generating organic forms with a flexible, agile aesthetic that questions the use we give to such a noble material.

This design has robust and visually resistant sections that combine with an elongated and stylized section, like the beak of a hummingbird.

Kinti significa picaflor, esta es un ave que la naturaleza a llevado al límite; su rápido movimiento de alas permite mantenerlo suspendido en un punto fijo, los latidos de su corazón son de 1,260 pulsaciones por minuto, en las noches para sobrevivir entran en letargo y sus latidos bajan 40 veces por minuto.

La vida del kinti me a inspirado a realizar esta silla que lleva al límite el uso de la madera, generando formas orgánicas con una estética flexible, ágil y que cuestiona el uso que damos a un material tan noble.

Este diseño posee secciones robustas y visualmente resistente que combinan con una sección alargada y estilizada, al igual que el pico de un colibrí.
