I Calendar for Central Cooperative Bank I

Central Cooperative Bank presents the richness of Bulgarian applied arts.
Bulgarian applied art uses a wide variety of colors, shapes and techniques. It is functional but, at the same time, aesthetically pleasing and impactful.

Ceramics, woven clothing, turning and carving, frescoes, mosaics, and stained glass present combinations of visual elements characterizing Bulgarian art.
From ancient times Bulgarian art has been strongly influenced by Thracian mosaics and images, gold jewelry, and utensils. The period of medieval Christian art is almost completely focused on iconography, and secular Renaissance art precedes socialist realism in art and contemporary
Bulgarian art.

Today, Bulgarian applied art is integrated into the European visual culture but carries distinctive characteristics and charm.
For the 30th anniversary of Central Cooperative Bank, we aimed to create a calendar to present all the richness of shapes and styles used by Bulgarian masters of applied arts and present them exceptionally elegantly.

Each month presents a particular style/technique of Bulgarian art (ceramics, mosaic, stained glass, iconography, woodcarving, etc.)
