BŌ Side Table

Inspiration
The inspiration came from collecting ice cream sticks in the childhood. The author’s father reused the sticks in his sculptures and therefore asked her not to throw them away. A bundle of sticks refer to the rhythm of vertical lines in Japanese architecture. ‘Bō’ translated from Japanese means ‘a stick’.

About the product
Inspired by a reference of ice cream sticks to Japanese architecture, Bō serves as a low side table. The table can be split in two parts and placed on both sides of a bed or a sofa. Two level shelfs keep belongings safe as the side tables connect with each other via integrated magnets. The magnets keep Bō from moving apart.

Materials
Oak and walnut sticks, enriched with natural linseed oil, magnets. If needed, gently wipe a small amount of linseed oil or other natural oil to refresh Bō. Dimensions: height – 520 mm, length – 585 mm, width – 210 mm. Designed and made in Lithuania.
