UX/UI: Kollektives
Brief Summary

This project uses the branding and identity project as a starting point and consists of creating and executing a user journey in the form of a mobile app or desktop website. UI elements, layout and user-friendliness are considered. Through different rounds of prototyping and user testing the design of the app or website is refined to reach the best outcome.
Technical Specifications & Deliverables

One UX solution consisting of the following:
01. Overall system functionality, but with a focus on a specific journey.
02. A well considered and appropriate concept that compliments your CI project.
03. Wireframes and structure layout of the site/app/etc.
04. Final (digital) execution.
05. Vertical narrative.
Design strategy

Most people have experienced the frustration of planning to go to a festival. The often tediouse process of booking tickets, viewing schedules, knowing where your camp site is and where the nearest toilet is... These are but a few problems we face when attending music festivalsHaving focused my CI project around German metal festivals, I decided to find a solution to the problems that users experience when planning to attend a festival as well as navigating through the festival.

The Kollektives app is Germany’s hub for all Metal and Rock events. Our app functions to make the nitty gritty of attending an event enjoyable and easy. From locating missing friends to deciding which bands to watch, Kollektives is there to help you through it all.  As a brand, we believe in the free-spirited, we’re rooting for the underdogs and we push against the current. We are wild, we crave adventure and we want to share that with you!

Unser Abzeichen | Our badge

Our badge is a symbol of unity, bravery, hope and collectiveness. The boom of German rock and metal was sparked by many factors. These factors inspired a movement towards collective awareness. That is why Kollektives is all about unity, awareness and honesty. Our badge is made up of the shield knot (a symbol of unity, and that everything is this world is intertwined) and the German iron cross (a symbol of bravery and hope).

Our Icon is bold and strong.  Our icon is to be used on digital as a favicon and app icon. In our app, our icon functions as a simplified version of our logotype that brings the essence of Kollektives to our screens.
Unsere Buchstaben | Our letters

Our typography is web-safe and easy to read to ensure that our app as is accessible to all. Kollektives makes use of bold and simple type faces to bring a modern feel to the grungy style. 
Unsere Farben | Our Colours

Our  brand colors are only used in photographs as they are not ideal for web use. The colors were not bright enough and were blending into the apps dark theme.

Our app colors are used throughout our app for buttons, text, etc. The orange is purely for errors and notifications as red could not be used due to it being our brand color. The black is used on all backgrounds to keep to our dark theme and text is mostly white or light grey.
