The name Butler can be traced back to Norman in origin and was once a reference to "wine steward". The name was later extended to mean the main housekeeper and also the highest-ranking officers who were that were not primarily concerned with the provision of wine. The color that Butler Tartan has is light blue red, gray and yellow.
