APOLLO & DAPHNE
According to the legend, the Sun God Apollo meets the God Eros, who has the power to make people and even gods fall in love with each other with his arrows. Apollon tells Eros that the bow and arrow only suit himself, that he killed many creatures by shooting arrows, whereas Eros only had the power to cause heartache. Eros is offended by these words, he has to take revenge on Apollo. He shoots two arrows, one that makes one fall in love and the other has the power to turn him away from love. He throws the one makes fall in love to Apollo, and the other to Daphne, the fairy girl of the Penios river. Apollo falls in love with the girl, and the girl is just as cold from love. She does not want Apollo. Apollo chases his fairy girl Daphne all the time. But she can't stand the chase. Daphne asks her father to turn her into a tree and at that moment she turns into a laurel tree.
