The three not so wise Monkeys

The three not so wise Monkeys
The brooches represents the proverb of the three wise monkeys, however they paint the opposite picture. The paradox itself is the reverse analogy of the Japanese pictorial maxim: see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. The macaques are the suggestively staring Mizaru, the carefully listening Kikazaru and the yelling Iwazaru showing off with its fangs. Raising questions about how much we are driven by our instincts and where the moral borderlines of society are - in a political way as well.
