This project was produced for OCAD U. The assignment was to create a short book on a brief history of typography, experimenting with typographic styles in the book itself. After establishing a structural grid, I started experimenting with the layout options to create a dynamic and enjoyable book. I used visual examples to illustrate the typographic styles throughout the history and designed some pages as if they were typefaces specimen sheets, displaying fonts that were important at certain times in history.
