"Corpus" Exhibition Catalogue

Exhibition catalogue made together with Alisa Kharas. The idea around our catalogue was separating text from image, to see how the content would look like, as text without the image and image without the text are observed and perceived differently. Our catalogue can exist in different states – when digital, the textual and visual information is separated, however, every reader has an opportunity to print it, to combine this content, and look at catalogue as a whole.

We used several dots, that were given to each artist in the content table, as the navigation throughout the publication. This way, when printed right, following the instruction on the front page, the outline and filling of the dot should match. It also works as a guide for digital publication. If the reader wants to look at the written statement of an artist after looking at the image of the work, he can quickly scroll, until he sees the same number of dots on the page with the textual part.

The cover of the publication is a rectangle, which grows, as you go through the publication - creating a full rectangle by the end (the idea of several fine-artists making up a full exhibition). Instruction for printing is on the cover. It was created for both online & offline exhibition, so that anybody during the pandemic can view the catalogue.
