The Three Penny Opera by Bertolt Brecht & Kurt Weil is one of the most famous operas worldwide. Our job was to design an accompanying book.
Peachum & Macheath are the main characters and the Opera deals with their fight for survival and power over the other. This is why I portrayed the two as chess player, with both same opportunities, playing the same game where every move can change the whole plot.
