The bowl of beef noodles serves as a barrier for Ah Nong, the original owner as she does not want to share her recipe with Ng despite Ng's relentless persuasion.

Ah Nong decides to retire and share her recipes with Ng, passing on a legacy to him.
‘Trapped by Measurements'
Upon receiving the recipe, Ng found himself in a pickle, he couldn't get the exact original taste of the beef noodle. He was trapped by the lack of measurements.
