7 Tricks to Arrange your Kitchen Appliances:

1. Banish your Never-Used Appliances

If you don’t use an appliance, no matter how much you’d like to use it, it’s time to let it go. This is the first step for you to arrange your kitchen appliances. Think about rice cookers, juicers, and egg poachers. If you use those appliances, great. Keep them. But if you have never poached an egg or made yourself a green juice, chances are you’re not going to in the future.

If you’re having trouble parting with an item, make a commitment to keep it for 30 days. Using an appliance like a juicer is a lifestyle change, so move it down to the countertop. If you begin using your juicer and it becomes a habit, keep it.

2. Keep Regularly Used Items in Reach

Place most often used items, like glasses and plates, on lower shelves toward the front for easy access.

Aside from appliances, the five items that should always be within reach are your best knife, colander, cutting board, sauté pan, and stockpot.
You can also use an insertable organizer, trays or drawer dividers to keep silverware neat.

3. Stash Less Frequently Used Items Higher Up

Store serving bowls, platters and lesser-used items out of the way in upper cabinets that you access less frequently. Remember that, unless you use something frequently, it should not be taking up valuable counter-top or low-cabinet real estate.

4. Store Heavy Items in Lower Cabinets

For safety and ease of access, place heavier items, like cast iron skillets and stand mixers, in lower cabinets. It is very important so that it will not hit you or even your baby( if you have a baby currently) when it falls down accidentally.

5. Move older food items to the front to use first

You should always notice the expiration date of your foods. Be mindful of any expiration dates and keep older items toward the front so they stay top of mind for use. This is a crucial step in order to arrange your kitchen appliances.

6. Arrange food items by size and type

Sort out all your kitchen appliances. Then, stagger items from tallest to shortest, with tallest in the back, so smaller items don’t get lost. Group items like spices and condiments in bins and label them accordingly to keep them all in one place for easy organization and access while cooking. You can also stack similar size items or place smaller items inside larger ones so that you can maximize the space in your kitchen.

7. Put all your appliances on one wall

After you have done all the steps above, you can already observe a neat kitchen. The last thing we should remind you is, if possible, try to concentrate all your kitchen appliances on one wall. It not only can make your kitchen look tidy, but can also bring you convenience.
It adds wow factor, and because the wiring is concentrated in one area, it’s an easier job for your electrician and delivers a cleaner, smarter looking room. – Michael Wright, kitchen designer

Conclusion

It is really easy stuff to turn your messy kitchen into a neat one. Just follow the 7 steps above to arrange your kitchen appliances, and you can also have a neat kitchen! Just bear in mind that, you should always clean your kitchen and maintain it neat, at least two weeks a time so that your kitchen will be neat and clean all the time.
The more often you organize your kitchen appliances, the less time it will take each season.
