The Gaia Leadership Project is an organization led by Elizabeth C. McLaughlin that provides leadership training for women executives and entrepreneurs. Their new brand arm The Atelier @ GAIA seeks to continue this work by providing a community space for activists, thought leaders, and change agents to make a meaningful impact at a corporate level.
Studio DBJ’s challenge with this project was to find the balance between designing a logo that was both grounded and familiar for the business’s corporate stakeholders, while still feeling distinct and boundary-pushing to appeal to advocates for social change. The final concept resembles a lock, representing the doors that The Atelier brand hopes to open to allow ourselves to become the strong leaders we have the potential to be.
