Context
As part of the module DE 232 at IDC, IIT Bombay taught by Rasagy, I learnt to use p5.js which uses JavaScript to create art based on your code. I learnt the basics of the software eg. creating shapes, manipulating the shapes and creating interactive artworks using different functions in p5.js
Our final assignment was to recreate an abstract painting in p5.js, and then make an interactive version by applying what we learnt in the week.

Ilya Grigorevich Chashnik was a suprematist artist, a pupil of Kazimir Malevich and a founding member of the UNOVIS school. Suprematism is an early twentieth-century art movement focused on the fundamentals of geometry (circles, squares, rectangles), painted in a limited range of colors.

About my recreation
In my recreation, I focused on:
• Accurately recreating the artwork to match the original in the new format
• Applying a parallax effect and looping mechanism to make it dynamic
• Applying a simple form of interaction
