Solange Knowles is a Grammy Award-winning contemporary R&B singer-songwriter and has since grown into one of the millennium's more adventurous, expectation-defying artists.

Create custom typography for chosen celebrity that visually embodies the artist, as well as aesthetically matches chosen image of celebrity.  

The typography was designed in a way that would visually express the adventurous, fierce, and larger than life nature of Solange and her music. To represent that fierceness and star quality of hers, I used parts of a four-pointed star to create sharp bold serifs. The waviness of her name is used to represent the adventurous, out of the ordinary nature of her music, as well to aesthetically match and mimic the imagery.
