My journey of reading Stefan Zweig’s books started when I found one in an old bookcase by coincidence. After reading several books from him, it was evident that the book cover design lowered his beautiful descriptive psychological analysis composing an exciting storyline. Even though there is a saying, “don’t judge a book by its cover,” often the contrary happens in real life. Book covers play a vital role in hooking the reader to grab the book. In the design process, a few essential considerations were being loyal to the story without spoiling anything, being even more meaningful after knowing the story, and being intriguing.
