In 2020, we went to Madagascar to discover Tsaratanana, an exceptional eco-village created with the Yocontigo association between 2007 and 2009. There, we led a 4 days workshop with young villagers to create the first map of Tsaratanana.
The elements that make up the village were listed, painted on small cards, then transferred to a large format to reconstruct the map. The participants told us about the village in their own words, which we used to caption the map. And finally, everyone drew their portrait.
