Brief set by D&AD New Blood 2014 to re-brand The National Trust.

I wanted to challenge the brand's twee look with a concept that would bring an edge to The Trust.

I wanted to create a dramatic, cinematic image that city-dwellers could relate to - and so we set about creating an image in which the subject feels frustrated in a domestic or urban setting and seeks to bring nature into their life.


In this scene, the woman appears to have gone mad and filled her kitchen with plants, all the while she stares out of the window, longing for a 'real' connection with nature.
