Visions

This project is about a play called „Visions“ written by Roberto Magro. This play is inspired by lithuanian poet V. Mačernis and a lithuanian painter/songwriter M.K. Čiurlionis. The play revolves around the main character - Mačernis. While he's asleep he has visions in his dreams of various characters he encounters. These characters follow him on his journey and at the end Mačernis teaches us that he is nothing without art and that nothing can exist without art itself. This photography series tries to capture the poetry of Mačernis and specific symbols of Čiurlionis paintings. This collision of poetry and art creates a mysterious world of visions.
