We have collaborated with the team at Holyrood Distillery to deliver a bold new brand direction that celebrates their pioneering status as Edinburgh’s first Single Malt Whisky distillery in over a century.




Having introduced a dynamic new brand identity, website and quietly confident tone of voice for the distillery, we were tasked with rolling this out across their growing product range, starting with their first ever New Make spirit collection, the Brewer’s Series.

Inspired by Edinburgh’s illustrious heritage as the brewing capital of Scotland, this collection of four New Make styles gives an exciting glimpse of what is yet to come
from Holyrood.



 
Each one of the Brewer’s Series explores Edinburgh’s historic connection with brewing and distilling, employing locally sourced malts and yeasts in the production process to create distinctive flavour profiles.

Our branding and packaging plays with the concept of ‘cuts’ in the distillation process (determining which part of the distillation run is captured) to create a distinctive identity system that thoughtfully balances shelf presence – and the Holyrood ‘attitude’ – with detailed technical information.
