Slash is an attempt to maximize the use of a small piece of furniture by making a table that has a hybrid identity, therefore the name slash, since it is a side table/tray/tablet stand. Slash consists of two tables that can be separated from each other and used independently. Each of the tables is modified to serve specific function beside being a side table. The higher table has an integrated tray. While the lower table takes advantage of its diagonal overlapping surfaces to create a place where something can be placed. It also can be used as a tablet stand.
