一本建立感知與體驗的課本,讓學生探索抽象所共織的數學世界
隨著年級上升至國一,數學的教學內容需要更多的抽象思考,學生必須將生活中的情境轉換成符號,並加以應用與分析。
因此,我們重新探討了數學的本質與教學中的數學,並發現市售的數學教材,封面設計多著重在數字的運算與具象的情境,而作為數學知識領域與使用方(學生)之間的設計者,我們希望在封面設計上,呈現出具象與抽象之間的過渡表現,並以單元一「數與數線」為基礎,應用在視覺的元素與後加工,讓學生感知藏在其中的巧妙與細節,進而創造細膩有趣的體驗。

A book that builds up perception and experience which allows students to explore the world of mathematics weaved by abstraction and math.

As students come to the first year of junior high, math-teaching content requires even more abstract-thinking. Students must turn scenes in their daily life into symbols, further more, apply and analyze it. 

Thus, we reconsidered the true essence of math as well as math-teaching. We discovered that math teaching materials on the market mostly had their cover focus on the scene of calculation and visualization. As a designer who stands between students and mathematics, we try to present the transition between abstration and realism. Utilizing the concept of "numbers and number line" as a basis, we have it applied on visual elements and processing, in order to have students percieve the details and ingenuity within, thereby creating a fine and intresting experience.
