I designed the new book cover of A Malayan Trilogy, (Trilogia Malese) written by Anthony Burgess. The Italian edition is published by Einaudi editore.

When the publisher asked me to work on this cover I immediately start thinking on Malaysia's atmospheres. I wanted to mix it with some objects that were part of the stories: the beer bottle and the ashtray. So I used the smoke cloud to draw part of the landscape and I made some sketches to find the best solution.
