Design Challenge: Door Knob

A door knob integrated with biometric sensor. Instead of keeping a sensor separate, I propose to place it where you will rest your thumb to rotate the knob.

Weather the door is unlocked or not is communicated by simple illuminated ring, which changes colour.

This design not only allows you keyless access but its unobtrusive and retains the affordance of normal door knob. All this, while looking classy!
