Project Description
Indimanch is an event that welcomes all forms of Classical & Folk Dances. Different traditional dancers and artists come together on a stage with versatile performances and share the experience of the dynamic culture of every part of India.
This project achieved 1st place in the
Best Brand Campaign category during the Kaari art exhibition hosted by MIT ADT University.

Problem:
How can we showcase Indian culture to inspire the western-influenced youth and spread awareness of small scale folk artists?
Solution:
Creating a platform uniting diverse Indian cultural
performances, through a grand event aimed at empowering the new generation and provide recognition and value to true artists.


The brand's visual style combines traditional, vibrant, and modern design elements, inspiring young individuals to embrace the beauty of Indian Dance with a contemporary touch.
Designing a custom typeface for the brand proved to be the most demanding phase of the project. I meticulously examined each letter, ensuring consistency in the type's style throughout. The 'INDIDOOR' typeface is characterized by its bold, sans-serif, blocky, and simplified design.
The illustration style is inspired from the composition of the logo, utilizing geometric shapes. Each illustration is influenced by the cultural imagery of a specific region.
