The photo exhibition "Si les objets pouvaient parler..." was born out of a collaboration between the Centre Régional Psychiatrique Les Marronniers, the ESA Saint-Luc Tournai & the Tournai Ramdam Festival.

The nursing staff of the "Les Roses" unit had the idea of photographing the objects that are close to the hearts of the patients: 20 volunteered. These patients thus turned to art as a means of expression.

Guided by the professor and photographer Daniel Brunemer, the students of the Photography section of the ESA, Camille, Chloé, Noé, Rémi, Basile, Otis and Davide joined this artistic project. Through meetings and dialogues between students and patients, the photographs were created. These photographs are accompanied by a text: the patients tell their life story, their daily life, the illness, the hospitalization...
This exhibition could be seen at the Imagix Tournai cinema, from 15 to 28 January & is part of the 10th Tournai Ramdam Festival, alongside the film "Le film qui dérange".
