The Jewellery Trend Book 2018 was an initiative by the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India, in association with National Institute of Design.

As a core research team member of the project, I was involved with the primary and secondary trend research, analysis and synthesis of data from various sources like jewellers, jewellery manufacturers, design houses and designers pan India. 

After an intensive study of trends in Fashion and Design industry we came up with 6 macro trends categorized under the domain of Bridal, Couture and Pret. 

Each look was a design direction linked to a certain mood, sensibility and aesthetic. These were highlighted in the palette of key material, technique, surface finishes, colours, details, stones, cuts and finishes.
