Vii"s Brand identity


For her official launch, Vii required an identity that reflected the brand's character. Being a hand made business with the owner as the face, the identity created had to reflect the personality customers had come to associate with the brand.

As a person, Vii is known to always wear a smile and occasionally give others cause to. it was only fitting that her business borrow some of her characteristics for her identity.

Marks
There are two primary marks for the project. The first being a brushscript of Vii's name. The reason being that Yarns by Vii is only a part of Vii's Crochet business. The second mark is a simple text that reads "Yarns by Vii" with one of the brand's elements in the middle. A simple mark was chosen because of the relative loudness of the rest of the elements.
The Ideal mark choice was an eponymous wordmark that left little room for confusion, The logic was to let people know Vii made this.

Patterns
The pattern consists of abstract shapes and two icon like yarn illustrations. The Patterns elements may be used individually or together.

Verbal Identity
The Brand sports a quirky verbal identity, very Akin to Vii's speech. It's reflected at all points of verbal communication.
