"Krankheit der Jugend" (Sickness of the Youth) is a play written by a German playwright Ferdinand Bruckner, set in the 1920's Germany.
This was a semester work at my University, the task was to design period costumes and a freely chosen athmosphere for the stage.
As acommon thread for my costume design I had the idea of different shades of graytones. I also added influences from different studies of anatomy and bakteria for the costumes in terms of embroidery, fabric choises and patterns.
