Imagine being in a noisy, overflowing cafeteria, looking out the window at the big, fast cars speeding down the street, while the man in the booth across enjoys his breakfast and carefree flips through his newspaper. You, with the natural curiosity of a child, pay attention to the news photos, where strange men appear, all dressed in fluffy white suits, who make you dream of yourself crossing in your spaceship at full speed (just like the fast cars behind the window), the immense darkness of outer space, conquering creatures from distant worlds... when suddenly, the waitress, with the plates noise colliding with the table, brings your feet back to the ground and you can see in front on you that big, juicy and delicious cheeseburger that you desires so much, accompanied by a giant stack of greasy, hot fries and a delicious vanilla milkshake with a cherry on top. Life is good.
This was the lifelong dream of our client, who for his new entrepreneurship in his native Kuwait, decided to set up a dark kitchen that offers the best possible version of the classic, authentic and unpretentious American Burger and commissioned us to create Ollie's Burger, a brand that seeks to recreate that classic All-American Diner aesthetic.
We also decided that we would pay homage to all those children who lived through the era of the space race and who found themselves crossing the galaxies while taking a good bite of their delicious cheeseburger by designing this cute Astro- chubby boy.
